NARRATIVE:

James Price began his Karate Training .in the Shuri-Ryu style under Sensei Phillip W. Koeppel on March 9th 1974 in Pekin Il. Dojo. I earned my black belt in 1984 from Mr. Steve Mott.

When Mr. Mott decided to close the Pekin Dojo back in 1990 ,  I decided to keep a school going in Pekin with Master Koeppel’s permission and blessings.  I was able to keep a Karate School going in Pekin, IL.  Until May of 2002.  I now teach Karate in Morton IL. At Village Courts Athletic Club.

PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS:

Karate has played a large role in my life.  It has given me the true meaning of friendship.  In the Karate World , It is one large family and in this family there is a lot of Love.   Karate has seen me through 3 Divorces.  I give acknowledgement to Karate for giving me self-confidence and the desire to succeed in my daily life,

One day at a time.  On April 01, 2005 I finally found my partner in life. I got married to a wonderful lady and her name is Sandy.
